    There is not a full date (so I've used 01/05/1903) and I can't read the location.

    Please just enter the data that you can read - some of the handwriting can be difficult to decipher! This is one of the challenges of working with museum material that has been collected over such a long timescale.

    Where a year isn't written in full YYYY format, the record could be from the 1800's or 1900's. If you find any other dates that are missing the 'century' data, please just enter the year as it is written. So for this example, just enter 25/05/03. Again, we'll amend the instructions to reflect this.
