That looks like a hybrid - northern marsh x heath spotted?

Sorry, that's not an orchid. It's a member of the Iris family. - Libertia formosa, a non-native from Chile that is now common on Scilly

The reason I think GBO is because this is from the Isle of Wight. there are no recent (?) records of lesser BO from there. Time will tell...

Hi, no worries, we all make mistake, even us 'professionals'! This is a rather odd individual. Bog-orchids have very small green, flowers.

Common spotted orchid - can often be identified at this stage by the shorter, blunt-tipped basal leaf.
