Orchid Observers Talk
A white version of the Bee Orchid - cool!
A practical scientist!
#hybrid
(Below) The spotted leaf is well-spotted! 😛
#hybrid of CSO and NMO
Apparently it's a Lady Orchid and not a #hybrid of the Burnt Orchid and Heath Spotted-orchid as I thought!
Relative of the Early Purple Orchid
#toofar
Could only see the #leaves in the image shown. Now can see it's Common Twayblade
Too far away
#hybrid that resembles Frog Orchid
Relative of the SMO?
#hybrid that I think I've already classified?
If it is the Common Spotted-orchid, markings are very faint... maybe a #hybrid
Poorly photographed
Lacking the markings though
Species not 'Neottia cordata', but ? cordite. (Can't read the hand-writing)
#hybrid ? as it's much paler than in the guide
Not sure about ID due to being a bit far
Too far away. Go back and photograph them individually 😃
Close-ups of #leaves in guide please
#hybrid with Common Spotted-orchid?
Need photos of #leaves in the guidebook
No 'leaves alone' in the ID guide to help identify...
#hybrid ? Green-winged orchid was the closest in shape and pattern
Hard to judge flowering stage when you can't see the whole plant
#hybrid with Heath or Common Spotted-orchid?
Possible #hybrid
I stopped my classifying session when this same photo appeared again...
I like the distant and close-up photos to help identify. Could have separate photos of typical buds and leaves in the field guide also?
